Pressure for the short time residency / 短期レジデンスによるプレッシャー
I'm sorry that I could not have updated the blog like before.
I have been getting a lot of pressure to have good outcome for my solo exhibition after shorter residency than 2 previous residencies in Thailand and Indonesia. The reason why I update my blog today is I have been getting more clear in my head which way I should direct my solo show.
以前のようにブログ更新できてなくてすみません。
タイやインドネシアより期間がずっと短いにも関わらず、個展のためにいい結果を出さねばと、たくさんのプレッシャーを感じています。今日ブログを更新するのは、自分の頭の中でようやく個展の方向性がはっきりと見え始めたからです。

絵を描かないというか. 描けないコンセプチュアルアーティストとして、ある意味アーティスト・キャリア初のドローイング作品のため奮闘中。

"Heaviness of Money" (I will present this together with a video)
「お金の重み」 ( これはビデオと一緒に見せる予定)

I attended the talk event by Aisyah Binti Baharaddin and her friends who are showing their work in Lostgens currently, Actually their work in the 1st Kuala Lumpur Biennale was refused to exhibit as a part of the censorship. The talk was about the censorship issue. I heard the news were reported also outside of Malaysia internationally. The next day I went to see the biennale. Of course, I have enjoyed seeing many works in the biennale. But, as I often hear the censorship has been sometimes happening also in Japan currently, this issue has made me think a lot.
今ロストジェンで展覧会をやっているアイシャ・ビンティ・バハラディンと彼女の友達のトークに参加した。彼女の作品は現在開催している第一回クアラルンプールビエンナーレで検閲が入り作品が展示できない状況になったのだ。このニュースはマレーシアだけでなく世界でも報じられたらしい。次の日ビエンナーレを見に行った。ビエンナーレの他の作品は楽しんだものの、検閲は最近日本でもよくあることを聞くので、特にこの事についていろいろ考えさせられた。

話題の渦中の彼女は東京で3月16日から開催されるグループ展に参加するようで、このビデオは展覧会のための彼女のインタビューです。
